About This Place

“A true Delta experience” Located in Indianola’s Historic District on scenic Indian Bayou, this comfortable poolside Bungalow has been a popular B&B for 10 years, until now available only thru word-of-mouth. We’re across from the fabulous BB King Museum, and within an hour of 20+ Blues Trail Markers and historic sites, and walking distance to downtown Indianola. It is yards from our sister restaurant, The Blue Biscuit, known for its great food, fun atmosphere, funky decor and Live Music.

Everyone loves the large walk-in glass-roof shower, and lounging on the porch or poolside with coffee or cocktails. International guests especially love the proximity to the BB King Museum, The Blue Biscuit and nearby historic sites.

Guests have access to the Bungalow, pool, yard, and private parking.

We are happy to help with recommendations & reservations, meeting space, transportation, event planning, and cooking classes (with advance notice).

This eclectic Bungalow is smack dab in the middle of everything. The fabulous BB King Museum & The Blue Biscuit are literally a few steps away, downtown Indianola, scenic Indian Bayou and several Blues & Culinary Trail markers are a short walk. At least a dozen Blues Trail Markers, Museums & cultural sites are 30 minutes in every direction. Tour the Delta, have a dip in the pool, then come next door for famous food, drink, hospitality, and Live Music (weekends). We’d love to see ya.

A former farm office, the 1940s Bungalow was moved to Indianola from Jonestown, MS. It has a King bed, separate living room with 2 “Mamaw sized” big sofas that can sleep kids or adults, full bath & kitchenette. Locally milled heart pine, top to 

bottom, gives this cool spot, filled with authentic Delta “geegaws”, a fun & funky Delta feel.

The place is all yours! The pool, and our other guest house, is steps away, on the other side of the hedge.
